WHY DO WE CHARGE A FEE?

As your trusted home-based travel partner, I am committed to delivering exceptional, personalised travel experiences. To continue providing the high level of service you deserve, the business will be introducing a non-refundable professional service fee effective from 1st July 2026.

This decision reflects the increasing costs in running the business, including travel industry memberships, training/education, current/update knowledge and vital overheads. The rising cost of living, higher supplier charges and administration expenses, along with my ongoing investment in professional training and development, have made this necessary.

Significant time and expertise go into researching destinations, crafting custom itineraries, coordinating bookings, and offering continuous support throughout your journey.

These professional fees enable the business to maintain my dedication to:

  • Time-saving research and planning on your behalf

  • Fully customised, memorable trips

  • Comprehensive support before, during, and after travel

These fees represent an investment in a seamless and stress-free travel experience, ensuring peace of mind from the planning stage through to your return home.

SCHEDULE OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICE FEES1

[1] All fees and prices listed are a starting price, listed as ‘from’. Fees and the category of each fee will be listed on the reservation invoice.

[2] All fees listed are charged at a per person rate for all clients listed on the reservation, regardless of age, unless otherwise stated. Does not include any credit card/bank fees, or any other fees not associated with Experience Travel & Cruise (cruise line, airline, hotel, insurance provider or any other third-party supplier listed or not listed on your invoice).

[3] This service fee covers the cost of the professional time and experience in research, knowledge, consulting, and providing the best possible service for the client – from first contact to post-holiday contact. This Fee is the first fee charged, before any deposit is taken, to ensure your Personal Travel Professional is compensated for their time, knowledge, dedication, training and experience.

[4] All fees in this list, not just this row, are non-refundable regardless of the reason. You may be able to claim it back via your Travel Insurance.

[5] No Airline Amended Fee, only standard Travel Agency Administration Fee.

[6] Includes minimum Airline Amendment Fee of $75.00 per person, plus Travel Agency Amendment Fee, but not including any fare difference and/or extra airline fees.

[7] Prices may change at any time without notice, due to external factors; to cover the cost of processing your reservation, amendments, changes and any other administration paperwork.

[8] The total amount will be charged to the card on file with us. You authorise the business to charge this card.

[9] Immediate travel within 72-hours.

[10] Extras; more than the number of guests on the reservation.

[11] In addition to the Reservation Deposit and any other listed fees. Also includes the reservation of 1 each of the following: one way/return flight, one way/return transfers, accommodation and cruise. Any extras are subject to additional fees included in the Schedule of Professional Service Fees.

[12] Where applicable and Client cannot do it.

[13] Or 15%, whichever is greater.
